Empowering children through the visual and performing arts for a brighter future.

Supporting visual and performing arts education and innovation.

We believe that giving back to the community is paramount to corporate and personal responsibility and doing so actively pursues sustainable architectural and development practices.

To fulfill these responsibilities, Acadia Design + Development created The Acadia Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support of programs and organizations that promote and support visual and performing arts education, protect significant cultural and architectural landmarks and provide for the creation and preservation of art and open space.

Music

We Inspire.

The Acadia Foundation funds many visual and performing arts education, talent development and humanitarian programs that serve communities across the United States. Our support of these programs is in keeping with The Acadia Foundation’s commitment to support performing arts creators, provide visual and performing arts education opportunities and community access to visual art, design, music, dance, and theater.

Dance

We Immerse.

The Acadia Foundation aims to create nurturing and intellectually stimulating environments for children from underserved communities who have a love of the visual and performing arts. Our individualized, intensive training and coaching programs perfect not only the visual and performing arts, but also self-sufficiency, confidence, and discipline.

We Invest.

As they grow with us, we celebrate each child as an individual, sponsoring a wholistic approach to their development using visual and performing arts as the catalyst. The Acadia Foundation is dedicated to positively changing the trajectory of our students’ lives at no cost to them. Through our educational programs and scholarships, The Acadia Foundation’s goal is to maintain a 100% high school graduation rate for every child enrolled in our programs.

“The arts are an essential element of education, just like reading, writing, and arithmetic…music, dance, painting, and theater are all keys that unlock profound human understanding and accomplishment.”

—William Bennett, Former US Secretary of Education
